About Me

Welcome to my world of chemistry and science
Graduating from San Marino High School in 2026, I have had ample time to develop and pursue many interests, mainly relating to academic fields like chemistry. I also enjoy designing solutions to real problems and volunteering to give back to the community.
In college, I hope to continue my study of chemistry and use my research experience from USC to continue my studies of materials that have the potential to make great positive impacts on the world.
In my spare time, I enjoy a few hobbies, such as practicing tennis and playing basketball with my family. I have two dogs that I love to take for walks, and I always enjoy a good conversation, whether it be with a friend or a stranger.
My Interests
I am passionate about a variety of interests in STEM and many other activities. Some of my main interests are below.

Chemistry
And Other STEM Topics
STEM, and in particular mathematics, was one of my earliest passions. Though I have worked on chemistry the most throughout high school, I remain interested in other topics such as coding.

Research
With Dr. Wei Wu’s Group.
I am a research intern at USC, where I am working with Dr. Wu to investigate the ability of nanofingers to be used to selectively detect molecules such as dopamine or heavy metal ions.

Volunteering
For my School and Community
I serve as a volunteer for my school’s Rotary Interact Club in the position of Webmaster. I also volunteer at my local botanical garden to spark people’s interest in environmentalism.
My Accomplishments
Gold Medallist
IChO 2025
Gold medals were awarded to around the top 10% of participants out of 354 total competitors at the International Chemistry Olympiad.
Excellent Award
2024 NIM Sustainability Innovation
My team designed a community-level PFAS degradation device using photocataysis, earning us the 2nd-highest tier of award.
Conrad Finalist
2025 Conrad Challenge China
My team designed a flexible solar panel that used AI to track the sun for improved efficiency, allowing us to qualify as a finalist.
